When Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) arrives on Coronation Street, he finds Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) kissing his 18-year-old son Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain). This will come as quite the surprise to Alahan.
Once Aadi got to know Courtney and they clicked, the idea of being a PA swiftly became a dream offer.
For weeks now, Aadi and Courtney have been having sexual relations. They often get together while Darren (Ryan Early) and Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) are having another business meeting.
As following episodes will show Aadi describe to his new girlfriend as attractive and intellectual, but Darren and Dev will remain oblivious that he’s really talking to Courtney, what began as a bit of fun has now developed into something more.
During their business lunch at the Bistro, Courtney and Aadi make the decision to slink away once again.

In the aftermath, Courtney is talking to an enamoured Aadi, saying that she’s well free of Darren now and they can make a go of things, while Dev and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) worry exactly how long she plans to remain for.
In an attempt to save the new Frescho agreement, Dev tells Darren at the conclusion of the week that he would speak with Aadi and help him understand.
Can it, though?
Ryan Early teased whether Dev’s future as a businessman is in jeopardy now that Aadi and Courtney’s secret has been made public by saying, “It’s tricky because Dev is a nice guy and he doesn’t blame Dev but the reality is his son is sleeping with his wife and continuing to do business with a man whose son is sleeping with his wife is a humiliation that he’s not prepared to take.”
“He has put in too much work to be subjected to such humiliation.” Although Dev needs Darren more than Darren does, Darren considers the possibility that there may be a way to take advantage of Dev. He is fervently interested in Darren’s company, so maybe there is a way he can take advantage of him to assist his marriage succeed or fail.
