Samia Longchambon, a Coronation Street star, shared sweet photos of herself, her husband, and their kid while on vacation in France.
The actress from Maria Connor is wed to Sylvain Longchambon, who gained notoriety as a professional skater on the television programme Dancing on Ice.
The pair were married back in 2016 after first meeting on the skating programme in 2013. Samia is the mother of two children: Yves Joseph, Sylvain’s son, and Freya, whom she shares with her ex-husband Matt Smith.
The 41-year-old posted many photos of Sylvain, Yves, and herself at a wedding in the South of France. In front of a castle, the three of them were spotted grinning broadly.
“Had the most gorgeous weekend in the South of France for a family wedding,” Samia said as the post’s caption. Congratulations, Thierry and Hina! The French have a knack of throwing great parties!
On Coronation Street, Samia’s character Maria is wed to Gary Windass (Mikey North), but their relationship hasn’t been smooth sailing lately.
Maria set up a covert camera in their flat to monitor her son Liam Jr. (Charlie Wrenshall), but it ended up capturing Gary in a private moment with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien).
Samia just uploaded a video of her very first scene to Instagram with the remark, “24 years ago today was my first appearance as Maria @coronationstreet.” Being alongside the amazing Bill Tarmey made me quite anxious, and I believe that showed ????.
We recorded it on Easter Sunday, and I still recall how happy I was to receive a complimentary Easter egg on the first day! Imagine that ‘cobblers’ is my first sentence.
