Following Lauren Bolton’s disappearance from Weatherfield last month, Coronation Street fans have been living in worry.
Daniel Osbourne, portrayed by Rob Mallard in Coronation Street, appears to be headed for trouble. Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) has made it his goal to find out where Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) has been since she vanished from the cobblestones.
According to official ITV soap opera spoilers, Bobby and Max Turner (Paddy Bever) spend the night observing police activity in and out of Lauren’s apartment. Subsequently, Daniel and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) make a call to inquire about Lauren.
But when Max turns and begins questioning Daniel about his tutoring sessions with the missing teen, the situation takes a turn for the worst. Max becomes wary about Daniel after noticing that the dates don’t add up.
Max decides to inform the police about Lauren’s O-Vidz account. But when DS Swain (Victoria Myers) tells him that Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) already informed her, he’s astonished.
Max agrees to speak with DS Swain about Lauren’s unidentified boyfriend while he is at the station. Mas acknowledges he has never met, but he believes Daniel might be the person.
Subsequently, DS Swain questions Daniel regarding Lauren and their relationship, implying that the teenager covered the cost of her sex education.
When the police bring up Daniel’s previous connections with Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), he is appalled.
When Daniel finds out he’s being investigated by the police, he demands a lawyer.
A radio interview with DS Swain, in which she implies that Lauren was murdered, is heard by Bethany and Daniel with dread.
But when it comes to Lauren’s abduction, Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is also in the limelight, so it’s not just Daniel who is being criticized.
Additionally, he would be arrested in scenes the following week after Max saw him cleaning Lauren’s apartment after she ran off the cobbles.
Could he be revealing more than he’s stating, given that he was the last person to see Lauren before her disappearance?
Following Lauren’s mysterious disappearance, fans have started using Twitter to discuss possible outcomes for her.
“I have a feeling that Roy is going to be in court for killing Lauren,” tweeted @JamieSummersTV. Either she will show up before sentencing, or he will be sent down and she will show up eventually.
