The actress announced she was pregnant in December with partner Nathan Chilton before their son arrived earlier this year
Sair Khan, a star of Coronation Street, has won over her fans’ hearts with a new update on her life as a first-time mother. The actress and her partner Nathan Chilton revealed her pregnancy back in December.
She remained very private about her pregnancy, and when her last moments as Alya Nazier on the ITV soap opera aired, the new mother revealed that her son was due in early May.
Sair posted three official birth images of her new baby and her boyfriend clutching their bundle of joy to Instagram along with a long message describing the birth and her experiences as a mother thus far. She used the platform to spread the joyful news that her son had been born.
Although the soap opera star hasn’t posted many updates recently, Sair recently shared on social media about some firsts she and her boyfriend have had with their kid, whose name they haven’t disclosed to the public.
The pair was spotted enjoying some time in the country and carrying their little bundle of joy to the beach in the sunlight. “Creating wonderful memories with our son,” Sair shared with her admirers. “First Tractor ride & first precious footsteps on the beach.”
Fiona Wade, a former Emmerdale actress, was one of the first to reply, writing: “So beautiful.” Bhavna Limbachia, a former co-star on Corrie, said, “This is beautiful.”
Additionally, her admirers and supporters responded to the cute update with promptness. “Excellent family,” remarked @poppymaynic. Comment by @amymckissock19x: “This is amazing.” @aliceinwaterland stated: “Guys, congrats! You’re capable of this.” “So many firsts to be had!!!” was the reply from @justinegoldglitteritz. @vick.spence also said “beautiful memories.”
In May, Sair declared her son’s arrival, saying, “He’s here!…Our young son is just amazing. extremely serious and worldly-minded. He joined me on our 22-hour labour, which was an incredible rollercoaster. He is really strong and resilient. It’s alright that we didn’t quite achieve the delivery I had dreamed for—two birth pools instead of a water birth.”
The 36-year-old continued, calling the labour experience “raw and primal,” saying, “My goodness, I had no idea what a ride I was in for, so I’m glad I kept an open mind and no expectations.” Since then, in addition to coping with sleep loss and the little matter of attempting to repair my own condition, we have been working nonstop to figure out latches, vomit, and tears. Extreme admiration for all the new parents attempting to navigate those first few days and weeks.”
Sair said, “I’m really appreciative of our healthy baby, Nathan, and our amazing support system for their kindness, tolerance, and late-night voicemails that have kept me going. Is it crazy or has anyone else ever felt like there’s a DJ rhythm coming from their breast pump at three in the morning?
