Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron commits another crime after Adam’s big decision

After returning to Emmerdale, Danny Miller’s character Aaron Dingle is not displaying any indications of remorse.

Aaron was identified as the prisoner whom Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb (William Ash) were holding captive in a farmhouse last week.

In essence, the Aaron of today is entirely different from the one who departed the Dales the previous year because of unrest in Italy and the fallout from Liv’s (Isobel Steele) passing.

Last October, amid the hurricane, Liv passed away. Aaron feels that Liv may still be alive today if Chas (Lucy Pargeter) had never had her affair with Al. This is because Liv wouldn’t have lived in the village in the first place.

Because of his actions, Aaron has threatened Cain, taken down a nasty mobster named Harry (Robert Beck), and this week, he spoke terrible things about Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) struggle with mental illness and his attempt to take his own life.

Tonight Aaron told a shocked Vinny (Bradley Johnson) that Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) had handed over his share of the scrapyard company to him. Aaron’s brusque replies and lack of empathy persisted.

In addition to revealing that they are now business partners, Aaron revealed that he had moved into the Mill Cottage apartment, which caused Vinny to question if it was a wise decision considering Liv had previously lived there.

After letting Vinny go for home at the scrapyard, Aaron went up to Rodney (Patrick Mower), who was waiting outside to pay for a service.

Rodney was informed by Aaron that the new fee would be £80. Shocked, Rodney attempted to bargain because Vinny’s offer was lower, but ultimately gave in and gave Aaron the entire sum.

Aaron went back to the office, added £50 to the pot, and withheld £30 for himself.

How bad will things have to become before Aaron starts to change if he keeps continuing down this self-destructive path?

Danny Miller remarked, “He’s still winding people up and looking for a fight; he’s got smart comeback lines that I’ve never usually been that character.”

Hopefully, he’ll ultimately revert to a version of his former self. He needs to fix a number of different personalities, which could make for an intriguing storyline.
