General Hospital Spoilers: Could Ric Lansing Be Dex Heller’s Father?

Rumours and spoilers for General Hospital hint that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could not be who we thought he was, and other possibilities have been put out. However, up until now, no one has ever conjectured that he may be the son of Ric Lansing, a figure who is returning (Rick Hearst).

General Hospital Spoilers – Could Dex Heller Be Another Character’s Son?

Evan discussed the interesting potential of becoming another character’s kid, like Steve Burton’s Jason Morgan or Adam J. Harrington’s John “Jagger” Cates, with Soap Opera Digest earlier this year.

Evan said that Steve Burton is really friendly, and they’ve even shared embraces at work, even though they hadn’t yet had any scenes together.

Soon after, fans started making assumptions about Dex’s possible relationship with Jason or the possibility that he was another of Maurice Benard’s Sonny Corinthos’ love offspring.

It’s a fascinating plot surprise to think that this discovery may lead to a family quarrel! That doesn’t, however, rule out the possibility of another Corinthos family tie besides being Sonny’s child!

GH Spoilers – Dex Heller Has Always Been A Mysterious Figure

Dex has always been a mystery, with a past that is concealed but fits him well. He’s been keeping a lot of secrets ever since he moved to Port Charles.

He first became known to GH fans in May 2022 when he briefly took over as Volonino Gym’s manager in lieu of Chet Driscoll.

It was later discovered that despite Dex’s best efforts to gain Sonny’s trust, Michael Corinthos had really recruited him to undermine Sonny. Even though Dex was an important part of Sonny’s crime family for two years, he couldn’t help but fall in love with Sonny’s ex-stepdaughter, Josslyn Jacks.

In an unexpected turn of events, Dex surreptitiously worked against Sonny on orders from Michael, risking his life to save him by taking a gunshot for him.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex  Heller And Josslyn Jacks Secretly Dated

Michael quickly found out that Dex and Josslyn were hiding their connection, and later on, Joss found out that Dex was actually employed by him. When Sonny found out about the covert affair, things became hazardous and everyone was at risk.

Recordings that may have implicated Sonny were in Dex’s possession, but Michael chose to give them to his mother as a negotiating tool with the SEC.

Unfortunately, Carly Spencer destroyed the recording because she didn’t want to ruin Sonny’s reputation and refused to use it to redeem herself! Then, in order to keep Sonny safe, Dex had to remain hidden.

GH Spoilers – Dex Heller Was Supposed To Leave Town

Sonny had plans to take Dex out, and Dex wanted to flee town. Luckily, Carly and Joss intervened to prevent it from occurring, but later on, Dex made the decision to end his relationship with Joss.

But she did find him, and they started to mend their differences at the very moment when Jason came back, which allowed them to save Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Dex chose to confess to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) rather than leave, and because of her encouragement, he is currently in route to become a police cadet.

Hofer told SOD that while he thinks Dex has promise as a police officer, he isn’t pursuing it because he feels unworthy of Josslyn’s love and the badge.

General Hospital Spoilers – So Who Could Dex Heller’s Father Really Be?

Dex would be in luck if the Corinthos family is connected to him, as Evan had expressed in a remark from SOD, expressing his yearning to be linked to Sonny.

When Evan read in the screenplay that he would no longer be working with Sonny and would thus not be seeing his great-aunt Maurice Benard as much, he became quite upset. He said that “Mo” had been a fantastic mentor and that he will sincerely regret working with him.

Dex seemed to know Michael well when he moved to the area and had faith in him; in fact, he was willing to betray Sonny while continuing to work for him, even if it meant risking his life.

Now, Ric, Sonny’s half-brother—could it be that Ric is Dex’s father—is coming to Port Charles as another member of the Corinthos clan?
