Home and Away viewers aren’t ready to say goodbye to genetically blessed River Boy, Rory.
As Joshua Orpin’s character River Boy Rory, a bad boy on Home and Away, announced on Instagram that he was leaving Summer Bay for “green pastures”—that is, prison—fans are lamenting the brief but unforgettable ride.
“If I claimed he doesn’t fully deserve it, I would be lying! Joshua said in the post’s caption, “Nevertheless, I hope you’ve enjoyed having him around these past few weeks.” “Joining the incredibly gifted and dedicated @homeandaway team early this year to contribute to the creation of this character was an absolute honour for me. How wonderful it is for me to add even a tiny bit to the illustrious history of this beloved Australian television program!”
The actor continued by expressing doubt about whether viewers will see Rory again. “Don’t know if we’ll ever see Rory again, but I’m sure the River Boys will make their return to the bay sooner or later…” he joked.
Home and Away fans mourn hot River Boy
Many fans had previously speculated that Rory would be around for a little while longer, with some even thinking he was an undercover police officer. As a result, many were quite disappointed to watch his (said to be) final episode.
Someone said, “Wish Rory was a permanent character!” “Sad to see him go.”
“Oh my, I truly thought he was hiding somewhere. He was excellent for Flick and the program,” remarked a dejected viewer. Nevermind. Regards, “Rory.” Your outstanding performances made the show better.”

While some people are grieving for Rory, others believe that the plot isn’t quite done and aren’t quite ready to say goodbye.
“I think that this plot was somewhat arbitrary, and it seemed rushed to be finished. It just feels odd,” a person said.
“I’m having trouble with something. After telling Flick that he had assisted Dingo in getting rid of the body, Rory confessed to Cash ten minutes later. To recap, he informed Cash that while he hadn’t been there at first, he had killed Dingo. Then, who was riding with Dingo in the car? Not Rory, that is? Someone else said, “Something tells me there’s definitely a twist to this story. If not, there should be lol.”
