Emmerdale Kim Tate’s toyboy affair ‘sealed’ on ITV soap – and fans all say same thing

Emmerdale’s Kim Tate has had a turbulent couple of months, as she has been targeted by Will Taylor’s ex Rose Jackson, who has been trying to bring her down once and for all

Kim Tate from Emmerdale could be about to have an affair with an unassuming villager.

Over the years, the soap legend (Claire King) has been at the core of several significant narratives; now she finds herself separated from her family and lover Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).

As fans will recall, earlier this year Will’s old sweetheart Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) caused controversy when she returned in the town. Rose has been controlled by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) into conspiring against Kim, even after expressing apologies to daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley).

Rose tried to dope Will in a recent episode by putting a narcotic she bought from a dealer into his Prosecco. Rose lost track of which glass was tainted however, when Kim and Dawn joined them for a drink.

The matter became even more serious when Dawn ended up in the hospital after an automobile accident. Dawn confronted her family back at Home Farm, exposing she knew about the tainted drink and charging Kim.

grabbing the chance, Rose created a slew of falsehoods to cover Kim for drugging Dawn. Dawn’s husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) backed Kim, stating he thought she was innocent, reported the Express.

Rose further isolated Kim last week by setting up her dealer to visit the farm and confront Kim, therefore making her seem guilty. Dawn was dead bent on leaving, but Kim chose she would be the one leaving to protect her ailing child Evan.

Viewers are now wagering their last dollar that Kim and Billy will start a torrid romance while Rose schemes against Kim. On X, formerly Twitter, a user said: “They should all f*** off and Billy to shack up with Kim, the Toy Boy and the Cougar!”.

Another asked: “Given Kim and Billy’s interactions over the past few episodes, are we about to see a repeat of Kim’s affair in 1995?” Someone else asked: “If I were Kim, I would toss that worthless, pitiful spouse of hers. The only devoted person there is Billy. Bets on them having an affair.

Reflecting the same, another said: “Kim and Billy affair looms.” “Hands up who wants a Billy and Queen Kim affair,” said a fifth enthusiast. Another bravely said: “I reckon Kim should get it on with Billy and the 2 of them can tell Dawn, Will and Rose to go f*** themselves!”.
