Kim Tate has four residents in her sights and might turn deadly on Emmerdale.

Inspired by learning the truth about what her husband Will has done, Claire King has been candid about what lies next for her character and cautioned that Kim would show a more retaliatory side in the next weeks.

The truth regarding Ruby and Rose is beginning to fall apart, so Will will sleep with his ex Rose next week and seem like more turmoil is on store. Claire, who portrays Kim, discussed what’s to come with The Mirror and other media.

Claire chuckled when asked if Ruby would be a fit for Kim before saying: “I believe Ruby would like to think Kim has found her equal. She’s not on level with Kim, in my opinion. Though we’ll see, Kim seems to be somewhat more hazardous than Ruby.

If she does exact retribution, however, four residents run the danger. Inquired if we will be seeing Kim from another side, she responded: “I can’t wait. I have them all stacked neatly. A handful from the past few stories have mistreated her. Rose has to settle things out; Ruby, Will needs some smack about the chops. Few there are. Caleb most likely is in there merely for balance. Perhaps toss a Dingle in there.

As of late, Kim has shown a rather family-oriented and gentler side; she also enjoys playing that part of her character.

“Two or three years of playing happy families have been a pleasant two or three years. That is always going to be inside her (a darker side), and it will eventually surface. She added, “I worry about Ruby and Rose.

“It has been fantastic to [be a gentler Kim] because, for a while, it was all hard, hard, hard as well as knockbacks, putdowns, one-liners, bitchings, snippings and retribution. You definitely have to strike a balance even though that is fantastic and more entertaining to play.”

She said: ” Otherwise, the character could become a little one dimensional and a bit stale. It’s much better; I know she has several aspects to her, therefore having that other side has been pretty helpful.”
