Actress Eden Taylor-Draper of Emmerdale gave a happy update following Belle Dingle’s abrupt departure from the community last night.

Belle finally found the strength to leave her abusive husband Tom King (James Chase) after months of violence, but he didn’t fully disappear from her life.

In the last moments, he told her he would always be there and that he had no plans to leave the community, which shocked her.

Upon seeing Belle destroying the surveillance device Tom had installed to spy on her, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) recommended that Belle pay her father Zak (Steve Halliwell) a visit while she was in Scotland.

Reluctantly, Belle decided to go to Scotland in the hopes of escaping the Dingle clan’s incessant worrying over her.

Actress Eden recently celebrated her first Emmerdale episode running amid the classic Emmerdale reruns on ITV, despite the fact that Belle has left the village in the current season of Emmerdale.

Since 2005, Eden has played Belle, succeeding child actress Emily Mather, who assumed the role at the age of eight.

Eden’s charming debut included her performing alongside the late great Steve Halliwell in the recognisable Dingle van, following Belle’s dismissal from school for striking a fellow student.

Belle made a fantastic joke about Zak telling her not to beat people, pointing out that her brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) had done just that.

With much excitement, Eden shared a photo of the episode on her laptop on Instagram, captioning it, “I’ve made it to classic Emmerdale!”

Reddit users who watched Classic Emmerdale also posted comments about Belle’s look. One user said, “Belle was such a cutie!”

Someone else quickly saw the scene’s humour, writing, “She was really quite comical in her early years.”

This episode featured appearances from Sam Dingle (James Hooton), Jimmy King (Nick Miles), and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), thus Belle wasn’t the only current character to make an appearance.
