According to a fresh source, Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and his wife Lisa Smith are divorcing after 25 years of marriage.

The 49-year-old singer is said to have left their £1.15 million Dublin residence just before Christmas, and The Mirror claims that the pair has now ceased to follow one another on social media.

According to the source, Keith is allegedly devastated by the breakup, saying, “It has come as a shock to everyone.” When they celebrated their 25 years together in July on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to the French Riviera, they looked happy than ever.”

For the sake of their two kids, son Jay, 27, and daughter Mia, 23, the couple is attempting to maintain a cordial relationship in the wake of their divorce.

In 1995, Keith and Lisa met in a nightclub in Dublin, and after nine months of dating, they became parents to Jay.

Just two days before they were married in Las Vegas in 1998, Lisa received a proposal from Keith, who also portrayed Ciaran McCarthy on Coronation Street.

They celebrated their 25th anniversary with one other with heartfelt messages in July. Keith stated, “Celebrating 25 years in style,” as he spoke at the moment. The French Riviera never lets you down.”

Additionally, he said thanks to Sinead Keary, personal shopper, “for decking out Smithy in such Sexy attire”.

Lisa continued, “Celebrating 25 years married to my bestie, longest time ever I’ve had him home all to myself!” in a heartfelt tribute post of her own. Love him even more, grateful for the giggles and the happiness that comes with being loved; I feel so fortunate to be #stillgoingstrong.”

Keith said the following in an interview with Weekend magazine from 2020 while discussing how to make a marriage work: “First and foremost, you have to want it to work. Secondly, a great deal of compromise is required. Thirdly, it requires forgiving.”

“But some people can’t make it work,” he said. I’d never pass judgement, but sometimes I believe that individuals quit up too quickly. It’s simple to give up. It’s more difficult to remain.
