GOODBYE? Emmerdale dives into Cain Dingle’s past with special flashback episode amid exit rumours

Cain could be leaving after making an upsetting family discovery

As he leaves to start over with his son Kyle Winchester, CAIN Dingle makes contact with an old buddy.

Fans of Emmerdale are worried about actor Jeff Hordley’s character Cain Dingle’s future on the ITV soap opera after he has made the decision to permanently depart the Dales.

After unintentionally murdering Cain’s archenemy, Al Chapman, Kyle (Huey Quinn), the son of Cain, had a difficult upbringing and was forced to watch as his adored father was convicted and sentenced to jail.

When the truth ultimately came to light, Cain’s 10-year-old son suffered a heartbreaking loss when he lost custody of him to Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) while the inquiry continued.

After all was said and done, the two were eventually reunited, but not before bullies tormented Kyle because of what had happened to his family.

The Dingle family has since faced several additional difficulties, the most recent of which being the loss of Isaac’s cherished lamb Minty, which prompted the community to launch a rescue effort.

When Cain discovers that his weak kid is once again being mistreated by bullies, he becomes very upset and decides to make a drastic change in his life.

In search of a brighter future, he decides to relocate his family out of the hamlet.

Will Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb), his partner, accompany him?

Cain makes sure he sees his old pal Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) before he departs.

Cain tells Liam he worries about how Liam is doing when they are enjoying beers together.

Liam took a significant step in his relationship with Ella Forster (Paula Lane).

Ella began dating a local doctor after moving to the Dales earlier this year.

Even though Ella was able to decline Liam’s request to remain at her apartment, she became terrified.

Later footage saw Ella sleeping in her vehicle, obviously without a permanent residence.

Ella was asleep in her vehicle when Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) discovered her on her morning run.

Ella asked Manpreet not to tell Liam because she was ashamed, but when Manpreet awkwardly told Liam that she had seen Ella sleeping in her vehicle, Ella became enraged.

Following some back and forth, Liam proposed that Ella relocate into Tenant House’s extra room, and she accepted his suggestion.

While Ella was moving her belongings into the home, Mandy (Lisa Riley) inquired about her relatives.

Ella yelled at Mandy after seeing an old picture in her hands, which confused Mandy.

Liam was perplexed when Ella scurried off after refusing to allow the photographer to snap her picture as he and Ella navigated their relationship while getting acclimated to living together.

Before things grow serious between them, Mandy told Liam to make sure Ella had nothing to hide when they were in the beer garden.

Ella, meantime, was startled by Liam’s nosy inquiries and fled the house swiftly. She would later pay a visit to a care facility.

After Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) discovered that Ella isn’t her true name, the disclosures kept flowing.

After discovering a hint in yesterday night’s show, many now believe Ella may be linked to serial murderer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).

Beside Ella’s luggage was a newspaper with Meena on it.

While some fans are certain Ella and Meena are together in her childhood photo, others have speculated that they may have met in jail and are planning a retaliation plot together.

While becoming closer to Liam, the father of one of her victims, Ella has become frightened at the mention of Meena.
