Many Emmerdale fans have been outraged by character Tom King’s behaviour
The next antagonist in Emmerdale has hinted at the timing of villainous Tom King’s avenging.
James Chase had a role in the domestic abuse narrative, when his character Tom mistreated his partner Belle. Viewers have seen that Tom has been dominating Belle more and more over the last several months.
With him assaulting his spouse, the coercive control plot has intensified in recent weeks, and things are only going to get worse. Actor James has conceded that the plot has a “shelf life,” as reported by our Daily Star colleagues.
James clarified, acknowledging his villainous reputation, saying, “If the audience does hate you, it’s a good sign you are doing it correctly.” Many viewers of Emmerdale are itching for Tom, the character, to have his just desserts.
James stated: “I believe Tom has to get his just desserts because that’s what he deserves.” Nothing can get away from him.
“I’m not sure how it will finish or to what degree. Belle and the audience both need justice for what has happened to her.
“We have to see her win in the end or for him to lose.”
