Coronation Street legend Maureen Lipman ditched agent who booked her in for a nose job

Speaking about her amazing acting career, Maureen Lipman of Coronation Street stated that she previously dealt with a tough agent who sternly advised her to have a nose operation!

The well-known actress, who portrays Evelyn Plummer in the ITV soap, recently took a temporary leave of absence in order to continue playing Rose in the West End production.

Maureen, 77, described the day an agent requested to look at her body and started making remarks about how she looked. Agents are people who help actors get gigs.

“I caught your show, and I think you have a lot of talent,” remarked my agent, Al Packer, after he saw me in a play. She told New Magazine, “Take off your coat and show me your physique.

I was wearing a wool knit herringbone dress and looked really elegant when he stated. “Let’s talk nose jobs now,” They were worn by several actresses, and they all ended up looking like Miss Piggy. He led me to a person on Harley Street, where he put a compass on my nose.

Another person who recently had cause to celebrate was Maureen Lipman, who managed to get four nominations for this year’s Inside Soap Awards.

The awards show will honour the most memorable scenes, plotlines, and performances from the previous year in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Casualty, Waterloo Road, Home and Away, and Doctors.

Cassie, Evelyn’s hidden daughter, was just discovered (ITV).

Grandmother to Tyrone (Alan Halsall), Evelyn is typically depicted in lighthearted and humorous sequences. However, Cassie’s (Claire Sweeney) homecoming gave Evelyn a dark and compelling new storyline.

Cassie told Evelyn that she had a legal right to visit her son after learning that she was cohabitating with Tyrone, but Evelyn said that doing so would just damage Ty’s life and that he already believed his actual mother had died.

Evelyn and Cassie left the cobbles after Maureen temporarily left the ITV soap opera, both agreeing that she needed to attempt to get assistance for her drug problem.
