Danny Miller has commented on the likelihood of Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle getting back together after his return to Emmerdale.

Aaron was revealed to be Cain’s unidentified hostage up at Wylie’s Farm earlier this week, prompting the actor to launch an unexpected and startling comeback to the ITV soap opera.

After fans expressed their happiness at seeing Aaron back where he belongs, rumors started to circulate about whether or not we would see him reunited with soulmate Robert.

“I’m amazed that people still send me messages every day saying, “Bring back Robron!”,” he said to Inside Soap. “I hope to collaborate with Ryan once more, but it depends on whether I can convince him to change his mind.”

Bring it about!

Fans referred as Robert and Aaron as “Robron” were devastated when their 2019 love story ended tragically as a result of Ryan’s choice to quit the program.

In his last moments, Robert was imprisoned after being taken into custody by the police and confessing to attacking Lee Posner, who had sexually assaulted his sister Victoria Barton.

Aaron was devastated by Robert’s subsequent handling of the divorce process, but he eventually found the closure he needed when he got an apology from his ex-boyfriend.

The character stayed on the program for several years, going through more sorrow following the death of his boyfriend Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) by serial murderer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu), which finally caused him to leave the hamlet.

For Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary last year, Aaron staged a brief comeback, but it caused him further grief when his sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) was killed by a flying trailer during a violent storm.

He afterwards abandoned the hamlet once more, but not before severing his relationship with mother Chas (Lucy Pargeter) due to her lustful and harsh relationship with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), which unintentionally contributed to Liv’s being out and about when the killer winds struck.

With Aaron returning to our screens and his mother and he still at odds, there’s probably going to be even more drama in store.
