Emmerdale spoilers: Chas slams Charity for sex with Caleb in short memory crisis

On Wednesday’s (June 14) Emmerdale, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Caleb Milligan (William Ash) agreed to keep their one-night stand a secret.

which only lasted a few hours.

After getting intoxicated and discussing how awful their lives now are, Charity and Caleb shared a bed. Following the revelation that Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) is the father of Chloe’s (Jessie Elland) child, Charity is attempting to move on from him, and Caleb is presently despised by almost everyone in the town as a result of the revelation of his plot to ruin Kim (Claire King) and Home Farm.

Given that Caleb wanted to attempt to mend fences with Leyla (Roxy Shahidi), and since they are both related to Cain (Jeff Hordley), who wouldn’t be the type to just brush everything off, the two characters decided it would be best to keep things quiet.

After her conversation with Caleb, Charity became agitated since she had seen Mack and Chloe leaving the house with Reuben. Her resentment increased when they entered the pub bearing some important information.

Charity chose to make a reference to having just had sex with someone after Mack and Chloe revealed to her that they are now an item. Charity did this out of spite for her ex.

Initially, Caleb came to the bar to attempt to make things right with Leyla (ITV image).

Mackenzie originally believed Charity wasn’t telling the truth, but she later broke her agreement with Caleb and admitted that they had slept together in front of the entire tavern.

After Charity described her night with Caleb and in the back room and the humiliated Leyla and horrified Chloe left, Chas lost no time in expressing her thoughts on Charity’s effort at retaliation.

And it was this image that caused us to feel a little lost.

Charity was lectured by Chas on how it was terrible to harm other people’s feelings and if it was really worthwhile.But has she actually forgotten about her recent actions?

Did that not cross her mind when she was advising Charity how to behave? We haven’t forgotten pious Chas having an affair with Al (Michael Wildman), repeatedly hurting Paddy (Dominic Brunt), and even going so far as to plan a hidden life away from the village.
