After departing the UK this week, Olivia Bromley, who plays Dawn Fletcher in Emmerdale, has been inundated with well-wishes from her fan base.

Olivia moved into the made-up Yorkshire village for the first time in 2018. Since then, Dawn’s character has been at the center of some of the most dramatic plotlines on the soap opera. Some of them include her promise to dethrone Harriet Finch, her adoption of Clemmie, the daughter of her friend, and her abduction on her wedding day by the wicked murder nurse Meena Jutla.

Dawn is now getting ready to give birth to her and Billy’s child, but Olivia’s life looks to be quite different from the one she leads in the movie because she left for Amsterdam this week.

Some images featured the city’s famous canal bridges, while others had Olivia riding a bike through the streets. Using only the bike and tulip emojis, she captioned the Instagram update.

“What a city,” said fellow Emmerdale actor Mark Charnock, who portrays Marlon Dingle, while Matty Barton star Ash Palmisciano remarked, “Looks so nice.” The comments area has also drawn a large number of admirers, with Nicole writing “Beautiful city, beautiful lady xx” and Gail writing “Enjoy”. Trev said, “That looks amazing, hope you’re having a great time,” and Eileen remarked, “Fabulous pictures x.”

Weekdays at 7.30 p.m., Emmerdale airs on ITV and ITVX.
