Lewis Cope, an Emmerdale celebrity, is friends with a well-known Hollywood hero.

Lewis Cope, well known to millions of Emmerdale viewers as Nicky on the ITV soap opera, may be unknown to some for his relationship with Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider-Man. They bonded early in their professional lives.

It first appeared when Lewis portrayed Michael in Billy Elliot at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre. Lewis remarked in an interview with Broadway.com, “I mean, what has happened to Tom Holland since then is wonderful. I performed opposite him every week as Billy. I am extremely happy for him that he is succeeding so much, which is right since acting isn’t a sport.”

Tom and Lewis have remained friends throughout the last several years. The pair has made many appearances on one other’s Instagram pages. Tom uploaded the image to his account in 2015 and said, “Excellent evening spent with these legends.”

In London’s West End last week, Lewis demonstrated his support for his friend Tom. Lewis was in the audience on Thursday, May 30, as Tom is now taking a vacation from his Marvel web-slinging antics to star in a new Romeo and Juliet play.

So who knows? Maybe in the future we’ll see an appearance from Tom Holland on Emmerdale. Stranger things have occurred as a result of the several well-known people who have made cameos on Emmerdale throughout the years.
