Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley shared an emotional post relating to her late friend and Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor.

Lisa Riley, an Emmerdale actress, received sympathy from her fans after making an emotional online statement.

The 47-year-old actress announced on Instagram that she would be co-hosting a talent show to remember her late friend Robin Windsor. In February, the 44-year-old star of Strictly Come Dancing was discovered dead in a hotel room.

Alongside Lisa, Strictly judge Anton Du Beke will present ‘Celebrating Robin Windsor: The Final Act’. Pasha Kovalev, Joanne Clifton, Vincent Simone, Deborah Meaden, and a number of other celebrities are among the guest stars.

Lisa posted a picture of the poster along with the comment, saying, “I’m so excited to be presenting this amazing talent show with @mrantondubeke. A live performance in London’s West End’s THEATRE ROYAL DRURY LANE…a night devoted to my closest buddy @robinwindsor my forever angel…”

The soap actress went on, “I miss and love you so much.” Lisa announced to her followers that all funds from the Wednesday, July 18, 10 a.m. ticket sales would benefit Robin’s own organisation, SANE.

In her last words, she urged followers to get tickets, saying, “Don’t wait as I feel it will sell out VERY fast.”

Fans of Lisa raced to the comments section to commend her for the homage; co-star Beth Cordingly said, “How Wonderful, Lise.” That is amazing. You’ll make him happy.”

Another person said, “Beautiful tribute to a beautiful soul x.” A third person commented: “What an amazing tribute and I know that you’ll present this as wonderfully as you did his eulogy.”

A fourth person said, “This is a beautiful tribute to your amazing friend.” Another person echoed this, saying, “What a beautiful tribute to Robin.”

Alongside Robin, who performed in the BBC competition from 2010 to 2013, Lisa reached up to week 10 of Strictly in 2012.

Following the devastating announcement of Robin’s passing, Lisa posted a moving remembrance on Instagram. The soap actress wrote, “My Bestie, My Robin, My Angel….now our forever Angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart….my very broken heart, I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven,” next to a collection of photos shot of the couple. GLOW IN THE PACE.”

Robin helped form the dance group Burn The Floor, which released a statement on Facebook announcing the star’s passing: “The Burn the Floor family has lost one of its founding members, Robin ‘Bobby’ Windsor – who has unfortunately died away…

“His charisma, skill, attitude, and enthusiasm contributed to the Burn the Floor stage’s renown. Our hearts will always be empty where he has left off, but our beautiful memories will last a lifetime.”
