Another grim Coronation Street villain returning – and he’s one of the nastiest

A number of menacing villains have made their comebacks in recent episodes of Coronation Street, such as terrorist Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron) and abuser Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper), but another nasty figure is about to return to the cobbles.

Fans have seen actor Luca Toolan, who portrayed the evil bully Mason Radcliffe, outside the Coronation Street location where he is now shooting for the ITV serial opera.

Liam, a Corrie fan, shared a photo of himself with the actor on Instagram, captioning it, “Nice meeting you.”

After being found guilty of threatening Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) with a knife, Mason was last seen on television in April.

Poor Liam endured months of horrible bullying from Mason and his friends, who did everything from tossing his school bag about and ruining his projects to vilifying him online.

Liam was so horrified by this repulsive attitude that he even looked up methods to commit himself. After learning, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) was devastated and resolved to see her son’s case through to completion.

Actress Samia Longchambon recently said, “It’s had a massive impact on Maria’s mental health. She’s had obsessive thoughts and she won’t leave Liam alone for a second.”

“She’s been so consumed by Liam that she can’t think about anything else. Her relationship and career have suffered as a result of her obsessive focus on him.”

Mason was ultimately taken into custody when Liam acknowledged that Mason had threatened him with a knife.

Mason had committed crimes before, so the judge in court said that she was forced to sentence him to a term of imprisonment.

Now that Mason is expected to return to Coronation Street, it seems as if his time behind bars may be coming to an end. But what does this imply for Liam and his family?
