Watchers of Coronation Street with keen eyes soon saw that at the beginning of today’s episode, Hope Dobbs, portrayed by Isabella Flanagan, was a disturbed girl who had stolen a sparkling necklace. She gets into a lot of trouble when she shows off the jewels to her half-sister Ruby (Macy Alabi), who is a very innocent youngster. Ruby asks that she do the right thing.

“Finders keepers!” cries Hope, but her sister has other ideas and shoots back, “No, finders handers inners!” Hope implies that her sibling may be “jealous,” but she corrects her, saying, “No, I just don’t keep things that aren’t mine.” Dad will find out from you, and if he doesn’t, I will!”

Those who have been closely watching the soap opera flocked to Twitter with great excitement to announce that Hope’s priceless jewels, which was discovered at the car wash, is really owned by Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Since she hasn’t been seen on the cobbles in a while, Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is incarcerated and suspected of killing her.

Though few people on the street think the good-hearted proprietor of Roy’s Rolls could actually be homicidal, anxiety is beginning to mount as the conclusion approaches. Will Hope turn in the necklace? Does it contain any information concerning Lauren’s disappearance and its cause?

A admirer exclaimed, “And we now see Lauren’s necklace!” on Twitter. “Hope has Lauren’s necklace that she stole from one of the cars,” someone else commented, with an emoji for disbelief.

Naturally, Hope is the one who found it! #Corrie,” yelled a third.

Meanwhile, there’s further automobile-related drama when Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) gets detained over items discovered in his van, while fans speculate about whose car it could have been found on.

Viewers observed what they perceived to be hot chemistry last night between Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and policeman Kit Green (Jacob Roberts, who used to be in Hollyoaks). Kit has made it his goal to listen to Sarah’s pained complaints about Nathan.

He informs him as he marches up to his vehicle that he has “reason to suspect” that it is drug-filled and says, “I need to check it with or without your cooperation.”

He finds a hidden hoard of USB drives, which is against the conditions of his release from jail after serving time for raping and grooming Sarah’s daughter Bethany (Lucy Fallon). Instead of drugs, that is.

Kit promptly has him arrested after informing him that his possession of the drives violates a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

In the meantime, Jack Carroll’s character Bobby Crawford has also been arrested on charges of tampering with the legal system.

The audience finds out that Roy has complained that, in an effort to clear his name, his erstwhile close friend Carla Connor (Alison King) “made Bobby lie” about meeting a suspect.

Fans will have to watch tomorrow’s show to see how the tale progresses, as two arrests are made in a matter of seconds and viewers are still unsure of Lauren’s killer.
