Coronation Street icon’s famous husband returning as Emmerdale villain 24 years after first appearance

Although Jane Danson is most known for her role as Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap opera, she is not her family’s only performer.

One of the most recognizable characters from Coronation Street is about to compete in the soap opera stakes with her real-life spouse after learning of his return to Emmerdale. There are more actors in Jane Danson’s family outside the ITV soap opera Leanne Battersby for which she is well known.

Her husband Robert Beck is best known for playing Peter Harrison in the now-defunct Scouse soap Brookside, but he has recently portrayed Fergus Collins in Hollyokas. The serial actor has been recruited as a new villain in Emmerdale, though, so he will now be in Yorkshire.

However, this is not his first visit to the Dales. Long-time Emmerdale fans may recall Rob, who portrayed a role in the soap opera for more than 70 episodes in the 1990s.

Gavin Ferris, who played Bernice Blackstock’s love interest, was unexpectedly found kissing Jason Kirk while still engaged to Bernice in the 1999 film.

However, recent Emmerdale spoilers have indicated that Rob is coming back to the town, but this time as Harry, who is going to misdirect one of the locals. The next week, Caleb will likely be seen turning Nate over to newcomer Corey for his instruction. Soon after, Corey will likely make the assurance that there are methods to generate more money on the side.

When customer Harry shows there, he is charmed by Nate. Shortly after, Nate leaves with a sizable tip and is glad to tell Corey that Caleb doesn’t need to know. The next day, Caleb asks Nate to watch over Corey since he thinks he’s up to something sketchy.

Nate quickly finds out that Corey’s arrangement with Harry isn’t entirely real after some investigation, but he decides to keep it quiet for the additional money. Later, Nate lies to Caleb about how Corey isn’t doing anything wrong in an effort to get a salary raise. Nate, however, alerts Corey of Caleb’s suspicions in the Woolpack in an effort to get out of a sketchy employment with Harry.

But Corey threatens getting on the wrong side of Harry would be even worse for them. Meanwhile, Tracy’s pleased Nate is seemingly doing so well at work but will Nate be able to get out of this dodgy double dealing?

Rob and Jane, a Corrie actress, are happily married and have two boys together. Jane said earlier this year that she had been in tears as she departed for a romantic date night with her husband, taking a break from their job and parenting responsibilities to go to a concert.

As the two made their way to Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall to see Australian singer-songwriter Darren Hayes, Jane posted a photo of them taking a photograph together on Instagram. When the former member of Savage Garden performed hits from both his solo and group careers, Jane and Rob were beaming in the picture.

Jane began the description of her picture with, “What a brilliant night seeing @darrenhayes,” before disclosing the emotional motivation for attending the performance. The 44-year-old said, “Since his music played a significant part in our wedding, it was extremely wonderful for us to experience him live.

“Of course cried like a baby when I heard ‘Truly, madly, deeply’ what a voice, what a show,” she continued. I wish to visit one more. Georgia Taylor, who plays Jane’s on-screen sister in Corrie, was one of the first to comment on the photo and focused on the duo, writing, “Cuties,” with a red love emoji.
