In a recent Coronation Street episode, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) was taken aback when Todd Boyce’s character, Stephen Reid, revealed his new living situation.

After Stephen was evicted from the apartment he lived with his former girlfriend Elaine (Paula Wilcox), Audrey promptly extended an invitation for him to stay in her room.

She was taken aback, however, when he disclosed that he had already made arrangements for his accommodations.

Audrey voiced worry that things could be going too quickly when he disclosed that he was moving in with Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews), but Stephen reassured her that he was merely staying in the B&B room.

She didn’t take long to express her opinion that Jenny was a far better fit for him than Elaine had been. She became especially happy when he disclosed Jenny’s intention to take him on a vacation.

One individual seemed worried about Jenny’s generosity, even if Audrey was feeling optimistic about Stephen’s future.

Soon after, Audrey went to the bar and, much to Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) dismay, started chatting to Jenny about her vacation with Stephen.

She didn’t hesitate to voice her worries that Jenny was being taken advantage of by her new partner, but Jenny wasn’t interested in listening

Daisy continued to express her thoughts when Stephen stopped by the Rovers later on to say that he would probably be moving in sooner than anticipated.

Daisy pointed out that she wasn’t concerned about the amount of room, but rather the speed at which things were happening between Jenny and Stephen, after Jenny reassured her that they had it.

Will Daisy be right to be hesitant, or will Stephen turn out to be the ideal houseguest?

Because of his past of drugging his boss and killing three friends, we believe we already know the answer to that one.
