Coronation Street spoilers: Roy Cropper under suspicion as he takes desperate action over Lauren Bolton’s disappearance

Concern about Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) disappearance on Coronation Street is growing, and Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is the target of attention when he is seen going through her possessions.

When buddy Bobby (Jack Carroll) visited Lauren’s apartment in a recent episode of the ITV soap opera, he discovered it to be absolutely vacant. The problematic figure seemed to have departed quickly, but no one is sure where she went, as shown by the radio being on and the bacon sandwich on the side.

Bobby will record an appeal with Suki from the Gazette in future episodes after speaking with Craig (Colson Smith) at the station.

Bobby feels a bit let down by Roy’s lackluster appeal when Suki chooses to interview him as well.

Afterwards, Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) informs Roy that Lauren had to vacate her apartment when the landlord found out that she had been subleasing it.

Roy then makes the decision to handle cleaning after learning that Evelyn would be charged because of the appalling condition the apartment has been left in.

But Bobby is really suspicious when he gets there and sees Roy looking through Lauren’s belongings.

At the eighth level, when Bobby and Max (Paddy Bever) reunite, Max discloses that Lauren had two O-Vidz accounts, and that when she made the first one, Ryan (Ryan Prescott) reported her.

After finding a fresh connection, Bobby notifies Carla (Alison King) and Ryan that someone going by the name of DirtyNigel54 has posted on the internet claiming they have seen Lauren. Bobby decides to meet them in order to learn more.

Will the encounter, however, be beneficial?

And Roy, what about him? While cleaning up Lauren’s apartment in an attempt to do the right thing, could this make him a target if things go out of control?
