If you don’t tell your loved ones what you really want for Christmas, all you’ll get is a chocolate orange and a pair of socks.

Lucy Fallon, star of Coronation Street, is thankfully heeding that advise, declaring publicly that she is hoping to receive’something glittering’ on her left hand for Christmas.

Ryan Ledson, her boyfriend and the father of her kid Sonny Jude, needed to pay attention!

The Preston North End football player and the Bethany Platt actress had their kid in February of this year, and she is now eager for the family to become even closer.

Does this mean that a wedding is imminent?

When asked what she would want to get for Christmas, Lucy laughed slyly and said, “Maybe something sparkly, to go on my left hand!”

“It’s only fair that I send Ryan a bigger list; he sends me a list,” she said.

“I’m very excited, it’s my first Christmas with Sonny and we’re going to my sister’s which is really nice, there’s going to be loads of us there,” Lucy said when asked about the significance of this holiday season for the family.

When I was small, my dad would always walk downstairs to the lounge first to see whether Santa had arrived. We would all yell, “Has he been, has he been?” It was quite endearing. We would always sit at the top of the stairs.

For Sonny’s sake, I would want to accomplish it this year. I’ll be at the top of the steps with Sonny all giddy, and Ryan can slip down!

The actress is having a great time overall as well, having returned to her Corrie character of Bethany after a five-year hiatus.

And as the heroine arrives at her family just before the year ends, it will undoubtedly be a dramatic one.

Producer of the soap opera Iain MacLeod hinted to a significant 2024 to come, saying, “She’s grown up a lot.” She had the start of a fruitful London journalistic career.

When she reappears, Daisy is once again faced with a formidable opponent, but now they are on an equal footing. Although Bethany used to look younger or a girl, she is now very much on Daisy’s level.

“I’m excited to see more of this heavy-weight sparring between these two ladies.”
