The news of Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) of Coronation Street’s reconciliation has Weatherfield locals talking.

Since Ryan saved Daisy from a vicious acid assault planned by her wicked stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still), the pair has had a difficult year together.

Daisy quickly became enamored with Crystal Hyde (Erin Austen), a DJ promoter who had captured Ryan’s interest, and began to catfish her.

He started taking steroids and opened an O-Vidz account (Corrie’s take on OnlyFans) in an attempt to regain control over his body while attempting to cope with the horrifying scars.

His initial outrage was short-lived as the pair had a sensual affair behind Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) back when he discovered Daisy was posing as Crystal.

Ryan thought it was time to walk away once the scandal came to light, and Crystal even offered him a pay job as a DJ in Glasgow.

We had assumed his fate was sealed, yet in the last episode, he returned to the Rovers as if he had never left.

Ryan, who had broken up with Crystal, felt he had to go back home after reading the extensive exposé Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) had written for Chit-Chat magazine about the previous year of his life.

Carla Connor (Alison King) cautioned him against getting back together with Daisy after he left her feeling torn over his homecoming.

But in an unexpected change of events, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) was shocked when the two kissed and entered the bar hand in hand.

What kind of a reintegration will Ryan make, and what will Daniel and Bethany think of his return?
