In EastEnders, Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) has a thing for newbie Anna Knight (Molly Rainford), but he could be in for heartbreak if she starts getting close to his closest buddy Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).

Anna has been confiding in Freddie while Bobby has been making extra effort to impress her.

After growing up with little knowledge of who his father was, Freddie has lately been able to locate him.

Anna believed she could connect to Freddie and sought his counsel while she searched for her own mother, who abandoned her nine years before.

When Bobby’s brother Peter Beale (Thomas Law) arrived and found out that Bobby was in love with Anna, things became more difficult for him.

Bobby is unaware that Anna is Peter’s sister, although Peter is.

Despite Peter’s best efforts to avoid it, Bobby misunderstood what he was saying and ended up telling Anna that he really felt that way, which led to their kissing.

However, when Anna’s mother, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), shows up in Walford in forthcoming scenes, things are about to take a turn and toss the cat among the pigeons.

As Cindy’s true identity is discovered, the information spreads fast across the Square, leaving the locals in shock.

Bobby’s concern about what this implies for him and Anna is understandable.

Viewers will recall that Bobby killed Lucy, Anna’s elder sister, and that Lucy was also Bobby’s older sister.

Will Anna’s feelings change if she finds that Bobby’s victim was her sister, despite her previous admission that she wasn’t disturbed by Bobby’s past?

After dropping the bomb, Bobby goes to Peggy’s to see how Anna is doing.

Later, Anna goes to the chippy with Freddie rather than Bobby. What kind of things are they planning to do?
