In EastEnders, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) is going through a difficult moment, but Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) will surprise him by offering some unexpected support.

Ben learned shockingly that Lewis Butler had been accused of another rape while he was still striving to accept the reality that Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) was dying.

Lewis had sexually assaulted Ben the previous year, but the charges against him were dismissed for a lack of proof.

Ben acquired bulimia, which has led to him limiting his diet and engaging in excessive exercise, as a result of all of these horrific experiences weighing heavily on his mind.

Actor Max Bowden says, “I believe there’s a sense of isolation to Ben’s demeanor right now.

“He tends to be a bit of a lone wolf, a bit of an insular human being, and this is something that he does to try and take control of the situation,” the author writes. “I think for him right now it’s a question of dealing with everything on the outside by attacking himself on the inside.”

In subsequent scenes, Kat is going to discover Ben in a dreadful state as he pounds a bag in the Boxing Den on a particularly rough day.

She is surprised to see him sad, but she quickly learns why.

She gives him some advise as a fellow rape survivor in an effort to encourage him, cautioning Ben that if he doesn’t get help, he may endanger himself and his loved ones.

Max says, “I don’t think anyone ever saw Ben confiding so deeply in Kat and finding real common ground with his step-mother-to-be.” “It’s a very unique situation.”

“Kat is a very fiery character, and Ben and Kat are very similar in many ways.” parts of trauma, aspects of ferocity, aspects of familial issues, and I believe this surprises Ben.

“Ben finds strength within strength, and Kat is a very strong woman who also serves as his father’s most direct descendant,” says Ben. Phil simply doesn’t understand stuff like this, thus Ben is unable to communicate with him.

When daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) argued that she wanted to travel back to Spain with their uncle Harry, viewers will be aware that Kat’s personal rape story was made public.
After being raped by Harry himself, Kat disclosed during a contentious argument that she was Zoe’s mother and not her sister.

After hearing Kat’s viewpoint, Ben decides to go to a support group with her. He starts to finally talk about his experience as they make their way to an evaluation.

Will Ben be able to find the assistance he requires?
