In forthcoming EastEnders episodes, Peter Beale (now portrayed by Thomas Law) returns to Walford and finds himself overwhelmed by the news that Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), one of his brothers, has affections for Anna Knight (Molly Rainford).
It was recently discovered that Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is the mother of Anna and Gina (Francesca Henry). She gave birth to George’s (Colin Salmon) daughters while living for a significant chunk of her life as a woman named Rose.
It was established in the episode that took place in France that Peter was aware that Cindy was a double agent but was not aware of the specifics, including the fact that he had two other siblings.
Back in Walford, Bobby is blissfully ignorant that Anna, who is working to learn more about her missing mother, is the object of his affection.
In subsequent episodes, she chooses to contact her since she’s tired of hearing nothing from her.
Peter notices the text in France and queries Ian, who informs his son that he has two sisters.
Ian instructs Peter not to inform Cindy and promptly deletes Anna’s texts.
He nods in agreement but surprises his father by revealing his intention to go to Walford to see Gina and Anna.
Peter eventually takes the Eurostar back to England and shows up that evening at the bar as Gina and Anna are about to make a purchase.
Bobby goes downstairs one morning and finds Peter dozing off on the couch.
As the day progresses, Peter makes a promise to Bobby to assist Bobby in making the chippy successful in order to prevent Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) from selling, but he finds himself at the bar spying on his new siblings.
Ben (Max Bowden) shows in and gives Peter a mouthful before Gina confesses that Bobby is head over heels in love with Anna, making things much worse.
As the discomfort grows, Peter tries to break up his siblings’ friendship, but can he do it without telling them the truth about Cindy?
