As she strives to get over the traumas of the past, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is spiraling out of control in Emmerdale.

Chas and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) took some time this week to think back on the passing of their infant daughter Grace. They talked openly about how they like imagining Grace’s personality and how she would interact with Eve if she were alive.

Paddy rebuffed the offer to hook up over a drink when Chas asked him to, telling his ex that he had already arranged arrangements with Mandy (Lisa Riley).

This drove Chas to seek solace in the arms of a guy named Simon (Robert Beck), also known as Harry, who was responsible for the recent savage attack on Caleb (William Ash).

In the ITV soap opera’s episode airing on Tuesday, October 3, Paddy, Mandy, and Eve accidentally walked in on Chas and Simon talking in the living room, which put Chas in an unpleasant situation.

After spending so much time making sure Eve was adjusting to her dad and Mandy being together, Paddy approached Chas and questioned what on earth she was playing at.

Mandy and Eve’s return from the nursery interrupted Chas at Paddy’s. Chas became irate and said that Mandy had no concept what it’s like to be a mother when she revealed that she had other plans for Eve other than returning home.

Mandy also admitted losing her baby, something she had kept a secret from Chas for years, after reminding him that she had raised Vinny (Bradley Johnson) as if he were her own.

Paddy then informed Chas that Mandy was become infertile following a miscarriage.

Chas departed and decided to contact Simon once again after being horrified by what she had done.

However, considering Simon’s genuine character, would Chas soon find herself in danger despite what she stated about their potential meeting?
