Emmerdale’s Amy Walsh breaks down in tears in emotional Celebrity MasterChef moment

Amy Walsh, an actress from Emmerdale, sobbed as she spoke about her personal motivation for competing on Celebrity MasterChef.

The 36-year-old actor competed against Michael Praed, Apl.de.Ap, Dianne Buswell, from Strictly Come Dancing, and Luca Bish from Love Island.

The competitors wanted to advance to the next round by wowing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace with their dishes.

But while Amy was giving her justification for entering the TV contest, she started crying.

Amy said, “I want to… oh god, I’m going to cry.”

“I want to show myself that I am capable of good deeds.”

“I have no idea why I’m crying!”

After being away from all that, the mother of one said, “I think you just lose your nerve and forget who you are a bit, and then this opportunity came and I could have run a mile.”

I spend 90% of the time with my kid in the playpen eating baked potatoes since it is more convenient, thus I have been out of the job game.

Gregg’s reply gave her more self-assurance by saying, “I want to tell you right now, I’m impressed by you.”
Despite her’mortifying’ error of combining a tablespoon of sugar with a tablespoon of salt, viewers at home showered the Tracy Metcalfe actress with encouragement.

Love Amy on #CelebrityMasterChef, one person said. In #Emmerdale, she was always fantastic as Tracey.

“Amy has swept them away in the meantime.” Another person remarked, “#CelebrityMasterChef SHE IS THRU.”

When professional dancer Dianne was kicked from the show, emotions ran high elsewhere in the competition.

Greg congratulated Dianne on her enjoyment of the experience after John announced her departure.

“I feel terrible about being the first to go home.”

She said, wiping away tears, “I think eliminations get to me, I’m used to them, but they never get easier.”

One supporter wrote: “Aww bless Dianne not getting through to the next round.” Other fans expressed their sympathy for Dianne. But she should be very proud of herself. [sic]

Another said, “Ridiculous that Dianne has gone first.”
