Emmerdale’s Caleb Milligan gets ultimate revenge after villager tries to kill him

EXCLUSIVE: Emmerdale newcomer Caleb Milligan is set to get his comeuppance after a mystery person pushes him off a woodland ridge – leaving him for dead.

Businessman Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) was recently exposed by Kim Tate (Claire King) and his half-brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) in an episode of Emmerdale.

Caleb had no idea that Kim was outside the door where the owner of Home Farm had seen him attempt to access Kim’s bank account on her laptop.

Caleb’s plan had been obvious to Kim, who then enlisted Cain’s assistance.

According to ITV’s official teasers, Caleb’s family turns against him and he is adamant about staying in the village despite the fact that he has no one to turn to.

Even his own son Nicky (Lewis Cope), who he coerced into marrying Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) in an effort to steal Kim’s money, has turned against him.

Nevertheless, Nicky confessed Gabby he was homosexual and in love with someone else on his wedding day.

The majority of the villagers get into a fight with Caleb in the following scenes, and then Caleb gets shoved over a ridge.

But who is the enigmatic figure who abandoned Caleb for dead?

Cain and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), who are sitting at Caleb’s hospital bedside as he lies in a coma, are shortly joined by the police, who are there to question some of the locals.

Will began his exclusive interview with Express.co.uk and other media outlets by saying, “I found out shortly before we were doing all the Home Farm things and him wanting to get his hands on Home Farm. I thus understood it would have to do with whatever consequences there may have been.

“And I knew there would be quite a few individuals it might be, but I was happy about it because, you know, the possibility of his character being killed off is always great to toss out there.

“I was quite excited by it,” the speaker said, “and just like just the conflict that can arise from the potential for who we might be.”

However, if Caleb does manage to emerge from his coma, the actor who portrays him has hinted that he could be seeking retribution.

“He’s held this grudge about being put into care and his mother abandoning him and his family his entire life,” he added.

“I didn’t want to interact with him in any way, therefore he is one of those people who will harbour resentment for a very long time.

“So he basically feels like someone attempted to murder him.

Guns will be loaded for whatever that individual is if he discovers who that is.

ITV broadcasts Emmerdale weekdays at 7.30 p.m.
