Emmerdale’s Dominic Brunt talks ‘amazing’ wedding storyline for Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle

Dominic Brunt, a legend of Emmerdale, has been talking about the possibility of Paddy Kirk and Lisa Riley’s character Mandy Dingle getting married.

Following the disintegration of Paddy’s relationship with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), Paddy and Mandy got back together.

Paddy broke up with Chas after her romance with Al (Michael Wildman) became public, but he later experienced mental health issues and even considered suicide.

Mandy provided Paddy with invaluable assistance throughout his recuperation. Son Vinny (Bradley Johnson) realized that while Mandy was there to listen and offer assistance, she was also attempting to convey to Paddy how much she meant to him.

After Mandy confided in Paddy, she was left feeling uncomfortable when he said he wasn’t sure if he should pursue a new relationship.

This made Mandy get ready to leave the village and pack a bag. But as she prepared to bid adieu to her life in the Dales, Paddy came to the realization that he did, in fact, want to be with Mandy, and happily, they were reunited as they stood in the rain.

Very sentimental.

Dominic Brunt has been thinking back on Mandy and Paddy’s relationship recently, wondering if he would like to see them get married once more.

“Definitely, yes,” he said to Inside Soap.

That would be incredible. I’m not sure how they’re going to end this kiss or whether it’s in the cards. Since we just wrapped up filming, I have no idea what will happen or where it will go in the future.

Dominic is referring to a kiss that Paddy and Chas shared, as far as we are aware.

Future episodes will see the ex-couple kiss after becoming engrossed in an emotional exchange.

“Paddy and Chas have experienced a great deal,” Dominic clarified.

“Look, Mandy, I do love her and I always will,” I believe he tells her. However, it’s a distinct kind of love. He struggles to express his emotions clearly. He makes a mistake, but he means well when he does it. There was no chance of it continuing. He stops as soon as he’s done. It was merely meant to console her.

“Mandy is the complete and utter love of his life,” he continued. I don’t think he ever got over her; I think he’s been in love with her forever. That, in my opinion, is the reason he tells her right away.

Now that they have reconnected for eternity, he fears that something went wrong.

“But I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with three amazing actors—Lisa Riley for many years, Zoe Henry [Rhona], and Lucy Pargeter.”
