Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley addresses whether Cain will kill his brother Caleb

Despite some hesitations here and there, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has accepted Caleb Milligan (William Ash) into the Emmerdale family.

Cain’s release from jail and Kyle’s (Huey Quinn) avoidance of a lengthy prison sentence following the death of Al (Michael Wildman) were both made possible by Caleb.

When Caleb initially came in the community, he explained to residents like Cain and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that his goal was to simply get to know the family that he had grown up in foster care and had never met.

This is accurate, but Caleb hasn’t told anybody about his other strategy, which is to seize control of Home Farm and kill Kim (Claire King) once it was discovered he is Frank Tate’s son.

As none of them have noticed that Caleb occasionally acts a little shifty, this ultimately means that Caleb has walked all over the Dingle family.

Caleb’s scheme, unfortunately, will start to go awry, and when it becomes the talk of the town, someone will assault him and leave him for dead.

Could this perhaps be Cain?

When pressed by his own brother, would Cain go as far as he previously promised Moira (Natalie J. Robb) that he would avoid violent altercations with others in the future in an effort to set a good example for his children?

“I believe that Cain always has the potential for anything.” Jeff Hordley hinted, “Anything may happen if he’s pushed in the wrong direction or if he flies off the handle.

I believe Cain was coming to embrace the reality that he had a sibling and was starting to appreciate how well they were getting along. Cain thinks it’s unfortunate because once you disappoint him, he won’t be the sort to give you another opportunity.

Jeff described Cain’s response to learning the truth about Caleb: “Cain just feels incredibly stupid in terms of letting Caleb into his life again and letting him help with Kyle, with regards to the whole prison thing.”

He allowed him back in after lowering his guard just to learn what had been happening. He feels very let down, and there is a lot of animosity there right now.
