Heather Peace shares adorable moment between stars in EastEnders bromance

Fans now know what one on-screen bromance’s actors get up to off-camera, and they’re just as close as their on-screen personas, thanks to EastEnders’ Heather Peace.

Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) are the closest of friends, and because of Kathy and Rocky’s (Gillian Taylforth and Brian Conley) catastrophic wedding, onlookers have even mistaken them for a married couple.

According to actor Heather from Eve Unwin, Bobby and Clay look to be just as close off-screen as their on-screen characters are.

Bobby gave Clay a unique birthday gift in the charming behind-the-scenes video, and Clay appeared to be overjoyed.

Clay proudly displayed a guitar in response to Heather’s question about the present Bobby had received, and Bobby sheepishly acknowledged that he owned it for some time.

The two drew each other in for an embrace and a kiss on the cheek while Heather in the background referred to them as “besties,” living true to Heather’s title of a “real life bromance.”

In the past, Bobby and Clay have been extremely candid about their connection, telling Metro.co.uk that they don’t have to put in a lot of extra effort to portray their characters’ friendships.

At the British Soap Awards, Clay told us, “We obviously just get along really well.” I really don’t feel like I’m acting really, despite all the on-screen bromance.

Yes, it’s true. Bobby concurred that it appears on screen from off-screen.

However, Bobby admitted that occasionally their tight connection may bring them into difficulties on stage.

I just want to mention that while working with him is amazing, it can sometimes be really challenging since he is the funniest guy I have ever encountered and sometimes we have to perform serious stuff!

He’ll say or do something so subtly humorous that it leaves me in stitches, and then the game is done. We attempt to recover, but I can’t help but chuckle! I’m new to acting, so I’m trying to get emotional again.
