During Monday’s (August 14, 2023) journey to the Dales, the B&B owner played by Tony Audenshaw believed Wendy Posner’s romance with the handsome GP was still going on.

When Bob made the decision to approach Liam and struck him in the face, viewers of the soap opera were shocked.

Bob ultimately succumbed to the strain and was taken to the hospital after having a heart attack.

In the episode of the Yorkshire-based drama airing on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Bob was shown recuperating in a hospital bed as Wendy (Susan Cookson) paid him a visit.

The two were having an X-rated talk while the nurse sat at the foot of her partner’s bed, and Bob said he had been experiencing erectile trouble lately, which was the reason for their lack of intimacy.

The news outraged viewers, who attacked the pair on social media in response.

“Is anyone else getting tired of hearing about Bob and Wendy’s extramarital activities? When it comes to the relationships on this program, why are these producers so sex obsessed?,” one of them said.

Another person joined in and said, “Oh god, do we need Bob & Wendy’s sex life too, think I prefer wailing Wendy,” while a third said, “I think that Wendy and Bob should be really explicit with each other.”

The whole episode of tonight’s show might have been devoted to erectile dysfunction as part of a sex education program if it had been shown after 9 p.m.

The talk, according to a fourth viewer, was “TMI.”

Many other soap opera viewers claimed that Bob, who has lived in the titular hamlet for over 20 years, merely received a taste of his own medicine because the love rat is notorious for engaging in his fair share of illegal relationships.
