Janette Marara, a star of Strictly Come Dancing, has openly talked about her recovery from a c-section three weeks after the birth of her daughter Lyra Rose.

A sincere update on Janette Marara’s health three weeks after her C-section may be found here.

To bring her first daughter, Lyra Rose, into the world, the 39-year-old Strictly Come Dancing star underwent the operation. Janette and her husband, another Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alja Korjanec, co-own Lyra.

Three weeks after the birth of her kid, new mother Janette updated her followers on Instagram via her tale. In the joyful footage, Janette looked gorgeous while ditching her makeup and spoke about how Alja’s family had visited the new three-person family. “We had such a great day because Alja’s parents are here now; they arrived on Tuesday, and his sister, but she just left this morning,” she added of Lyra’s third birthday.

I feel very spoiled; I don’t know what will happen when they go since I’ve had my parents for a week and now them for a week, she said. “They’ve been here all week cooking, cleaning, and cuddling Lyra. Janette later mentioned in the video that Dan Walker and Katya Jones, two more Strictly friends, had visited her.

Janette, who previously provided fans with a Strictly update, changed the subject and said: “A few of you have been wondering how the recuperation for me has been doing. I’ll be honest: 22 days after the surgery, especially this last week, I feel so much more like myself. I can now comfortably climb and descend the stairs, and after over two weeks of sleeping only while sitting up, I can now finally turn on my side.

“Since I’ve started sleeping on my side and with Lyra being cared for by someone else, I’ve been sleeping better. The healing process is doing really well, even if I still get a little bit of discomfort and can’t perform a lot of activities.

“I think there was a moment there where I thought is this going to last forever, but luckily it really doesn’t and you just have to take it easy and day by day,” the Strictly It Takes Two presenter explained. Everyone recovers in their own way, but my recuperation is going well thus far. She said in the last lines of the video, “I’m just enjoying my love bubble with Lyra and being a mum.”
