More huge schedule changes confirmed for Coronation Street and Emmerdale

There will soon be more Coronation Street and Emmerdale timetable adjustments.

As usual, the soap schedules are thrown into disarray whenever a sporting event airs on BBC One or ITV.

The Rugby World Cup is scheduled to run until October, thus Coronation Street will air earlier in the week. Emmerdale will only see a little alteration.

During the week starting on October 2, the following soap operas will air:

Monday, October 2: 7:30 p.m. Emmerdale and 8:00 p.m. Coronation Street

Tuesday, October 3: 7:30 p.m. Emmerdale and 8:00 p.m. Coronation Street

Wednesday, October 4: 7:30 p.m. Emmerdale and 8:00 p.m. Coronation Street

Emmerdale, Thursday, October 5, 7:30–8:30 p.m.

Emmerdale, Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m.

In Weatherfield, Stephen (Todd Boyce) is still having problems after the police found Leo Thompkins’ body, so it’s definitely the quiet before the storm.

Time is running out for Stephen (Picture: ITV)

We know that in later sequences, Stephen will try to choke Joe Duttine’s character, Tim Metcalfe, and discuss fleeing after being seen at an airport. But in the meanwhile, will the people living in the cobbles find out the truth about what really happened to Leo, Teddy, and Rufus?

Mack proposes! (Picture: ITV)

In Yorkshire, as Super Soap Week draws nearer, Mack (played by Lawrence Robb) chooses to pop the question to Chloe (played by Jessie Elland) after suspecting that she could be expecting another child.

Pictures have surfaced showing the moment a car plunges off a cliff, with Chloe seemingly stuck inside. These shots are scheduled to run ahead of a disastrous week for Mack, Chloe, and Charity (Emma Atkins).

Drama also abounds for Kevin Mathurin’s returning character, Charles. After his father, Victor (Eddie Osei), passed away a few weeks ago, he has been gone and is unsure of whether to inform Claudette (Flo Wilson) that he has been framing his father for the theft of valuables.
