Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson’s Instagram upload of a video from her recent trip to Mallorca has us daydreaming about white sand beaches, the clear blue water, and delectable cuisine.

Last weekend, Nikki took a “last-minute trip” with her boyfriend, former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actor Anthony Quinlan.

The getaway had been “just what the doctor ordered,” according to Hollyoaks actress Nikki, who also said that the pair was “Making Memories in Mallorca.”

The video depicts them basking in the sun, however Anthony does say at one point, after a run, that it is “absolutely boiling” since most of the Mediterranean has been experiencing record-breaking heat.

The infatuated pair seems to be having a fantastic time as they dine at romantic beachside restaurants, go on walks, or sip drinks in the shade. They may also be spotted loading up on necessities at a supermarket, but even a trip to the grocery store can be enjoyable while you’re on vacation.

Nikki and Anthony, who was once dating Dianne Buswell from Strictly Come Dancing, began dating last year.

I entered Direct Messaging, and that was all. The rest is history,’ Anthony told the Sun. “I was fortunate to obtain a date. He said how he and Nikki have many shared interests and that she is supportive of his current business endeavor as the owner of the vegan supplement company BoxedOff since she is ‘very interested about health and fitness’.

From 2013 until 2020, Anthony portrayed Pete Barton in Emmerdale. He gained popularity among fans before that after spending six years as Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks.

Nikki, meanwhile, has experience working on many soap operas; from 1999 to 2005, she portrayed Candice Stowe on Coronation Street.

She started in Hollyoaks in 2012 and has since been a part of various significant storylines. The most recent Long Walk Home episode, which emphasized the concern for women’s safety, was among them.

On a night out, Maxine became separated from her pals, and the episode depicted what occurred when she was viciously beaten while walking home. Nikki informed us that it was a narrative she was happy to take on and that it was conveying a significant message.

In her words, “It’s not about the person who was attacked; it’s about the person who is attacking; they need to be educated that it’s not right and people can live their lives as they wish to in a safe environment.”
