For the inhabitants of the fabled cobbles, Coronation Street has another shocking week planned, with a number of revelations anticipated.
When Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) visits the monument for the victim Rufus, he is struck speechless. Meanwhile, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) taunts Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) after his late-night outing.
Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) welcomes the Newtons to the Rovers in the hopes that they would help her save the bar she loves, but things don’t exactly go as planned.

Phillip and Henry Newton are welcomed to the Rovers by Jenny.
Things get off to a rocky start when Glenda admits that she has a sore throat and won’t be able to perform that particular evening.
To Jenny’s relief, Glenda comes up with a plan and reveals that she has secured the services of famed entertainer Glyn Young, which excites Phillip.
Wednesday August 9
When Sarah sees Adam getting out of a cab in the morning, she can’t help but tease him about looking messy. However, as Daniel arrives to spend some time with him, Adam reaffirms that he is now alone and can do anything he wants.
Friday August 11
Arriving at the hotel for Rufus’ memorial ceremony, Stephen, Carla, and Michael are shocked by the low turnout. But when a youngster approaches and reveals that he is Rufus’ son, Stephen is taken aback.
The murderer is rendered speechless by the revelation, and Carla asks whether he’s alright. But will Stephen be eventually exposed as a result of this unexpected confrontation?
